I am searching for a good euph solo with relatively easy band accomp parts. I'd like the solo to be in the theme/variation form--a la Arban/Mantia/Clarke style piece. They are not easy to find in current publication.
There is the "Carnival" set of pieces--the ones from Wynton Marsalis's CD of the same name, but those band parts were re-arranged by Hunsberger, and the band parts are quite difficult. Does anyone know if the "original" band accompaniments of these are available?--the ones by Clarke, Arban, or Mantia themselves--are they still in print? Thanks in advance. I have some experience with a lot of these solos, but none with the band accomps (and my judgement of the abilities of even an average high school abnd may be a bit off...)--any advice would be great!!
