I've wanted to play a Fafner ever since they started getting good reviews, but I've never been in the same room as one of them. I don't think I'd be tempted, because the Holton exceeds my dreams for a big tuba, but I still want to play one.
What would tempt me is a big F tuba. I have Miraphone 181-6 lust, and I hope a good one is not on the floor at the Army conference next week (that was a hint to the sellers--bring 'em if you got 'em, heh, heh).
