I saw "The Chicago Principal" for the first time at Barnes and Noble last night and was surprised to learn that a complete recording of the Vaughn Williams Concerto by Arnold Jacobs was available. It also has recordnigs of some of Chicago's other famous "Principal" seat players playing famous concertos.
Has anyone heard this version? Is it worth buying? I would suspect that it is.
