Here are two links...

I can't say enough about the summer I spent there. It was a fantastic experience, and the Disney College Programs - Entertainment people get paid alot better than just the regular college program people. Plus, with the musicians, we got our housing paid for, but NOT out of our own check. I don't know if that is still the case, but it was great.

What people have said in previous posts is correct. Dress well, and be personable. Plus you gotta play your butt off, and read pretty well. Take some time, and sightread every day. Read different styles. Be prepared for any style to get called up.

I was really lucky. I was in the College Orchestra. I didn't have to use a sousaphone, and march. 'Course, I had to be under stage lights, in the sun, and wearing a polyester tuxedo...so there are trade-offs. But they don't have a college orchestra for a little while. Something about it costing too much...stupid smart business decisions...

But I got to hang out with some great musicians who worked at the parks. Mike Roylance was there, and Willie Clark was around. Those two have chops of steel!
