Since you want a tenor shank mouthpiece, I am assuming you have a Yamaha 321.
Great doubling horn.  I doubled on one for over 20 years.  The first thing I did though, was to have a tuba receiver installed on it.  A fairly inexpensive mod.  Much cheeper than a new leadpipe.  This let me use a bass trombone mouthpiece.  The mouthpiece would slide far down into the receiver, but it was in tune.  This horn really opens up with a large mouthpiece.  I used an Elliott LB-112-I8.
