If you were to play a concert with the Chicago Symphony you would get a paycheck, wear a tux and play your horn. Different world with Aaron. He plays outside Orchestra Hall, his paycheck is whatever he gets in tips so he dresses the occassion. What would you suspect would be better for getting tips, wearing a tux or looking like you're homeless? Yep, homeless wins! All I can say is that I have sent him a few packages over the years and there was a street address - I got it after calling him.
Don't worry about Aaron, he isn't spending the coldest night of the year (tonight) in a shelter or under an expressway bridge. Can't say if he was outside playing though.
