A while back, there were some post regarding a "new" Miraphone 184 in development.
Does anybody know if this is true, and if so, when the new model might be available?
Also, there seems to be limited availability of used horns. Where might I locate a used 184, (either in Bb or C)? I have played a borrowed 184 C, using it as a double with bass trombone for the Lion King. The 184 C performed very well in this situation (part requires a pedal C). Any suggestions on locating one of these horns would be appreciated.
