My wife just pointed out that the folks who produce the CD Sheet Music CD-ROMs have launched a new venture--orchestral excerpts. They've released the first of 4 CD's containing excerpts by instrument--the content is printable pages in Adobe Acrobat format.

The first CD for low brass is more likely to be of use to trombonists than tuba players, but it does include Berlioz, even including the rarely-performed "Grande Symphonie Funebre" for wind band, strings and chorus.

Pretty cheap at $19.95 per disc.

Unlike the CD sheet music discs, however, these must be purchased through a Hal Leonard dealer. Here's a link to the (rather badly formatted) web announcement.
