Jay is right on the money with this one (as usual), the piece requires a lot of work and stamina (and nerve). Get the score and a bunch of recordings to start with. Be totally prepared before you go into your first lesson and know what section you will be playing with at every point in the piece. Sound characteristics need to vary as much as the style you'll use. This way you can get the most out of the lesson and focus on the complexities rather than on the basics.
