And before someone corrects me and gives me a brass history lesson, playing the Haydn on Bb as oppossed to Eb was probably a bad example and was used only to illustrate difference in timbre. There is proably someone out there who pictures Haydn writing for a trumpeter carrying a ProPac over hic shoulder with one of every key in it, including a pic. I will try to be more specific or give a better example next time.
