I don't believe that I'll be calling Mr. Deck. I'm sure that he has better things to do than field a bunch of questions from me. I am just curious why it seems that the 2165 is not well liked. They still advertise the 2165 and 2155 as "Deck" models. Just curious why he isn't playing the big one. Also I have heard mixed comments concerning the large Mel Culbertson VMI CCs. The best way to get information on tubas is to ask the people who are using them. I prefer asking the normal population and not interested parties. Nothing against players who get endorsements, I realize endorsements are important but I think it is easier for the "average-Joe" to be completely objective about the performance of a particular horn. I also realize that all players are different and that opinions vary. Thanks for the input, Dave
