Perhaps you are looking for Kaleidoscope by Gilles Senon. It is a French etude book with 32 exercises for tuba. I'm a eupher and someone recommended this to me for working on lyrical lines above and below the staff. I have really enojoyed this book. I don't know if this is what you are looking for but here is what I have that matches:
