That is interesting to hear. And it teaches me that horns can look very different while still being essentially the same. I was basing my statements on what other Nirschl owners had told me plus my own experiences playing Dave's horn and the current WN-15/B&M-5625. To my eye and my feel, Dave's horn is bigger. It looked that way and it played that way. But if Walter classifies them both as 4/4 I'm not going to argue with that! Hell, these designations are not just a little flexible anyway, huh? Thanks for the straight dope Pat!
