I tend to have the problem on my BBb horn that above the staff, the intonation starts to go really flat, starting with the B-flat. It's so bad that I use third valve for C (eleventh partial, traditionally about a quarter tone sharp. The combination of the third valve and the flatness I'm describing bring it almost in tune.)
This seems to be a consistent problem no matter whose BBb horn I'm on. Is there a typical embouchure/air problem that would cause this? I'd hate to just have to try and lip it all...

Eric
