Well, Mr. Bozza was a student of the violin, conducting and composing at the Paris Conservatory in the 1920's and 30's.He wrote alot of different things from operas to symphonies to ballets. He's probably best known for his chamber works for wind instuments. I believe he passed away in 1991, though not totally sure. He definitely had it out for the tuba, I know that. I've played his Concertino for tuba and piano and let me tell you, it shows no mercy. I also played the Sonatine for quintet last semester in the faculty brass quintet, it is awesome if you can pull it off. I took a couple of those high G's donw cuz I just couldn't hold out to nail 'em all. It's one of my favorites for quintet though. I just wish I could've heard it before I played it, not after.

I hope this is somewhere near what you are wanting to hear.
