You can do as you please but personally I would just let it tarnish over and forget it. Tarnish can look good too.. especially once your horn turns completely black. The tarnish is actually a protective layer protecting the silver beneath it.. in effect under all that tarnish your horn will always be shiny! 8b
If you must polish I would actually stay away from the tarnish preventing polishes. In my limited experience they tend to make my horn smell bad. Does anyone else have that experience or is there something wrong with the plating on my horn?
