If I had to choose between the two horns, I would use the Besson for solos and the MW in places when I need a larger horn. If you're looking for an all-purpsoe horn, I would choose the MW, but I liked the Miraphone (I'm selling one if you're interested), the Besson 981 and Yamaha Eb (all 3+1 compensating horns) better than either of the horns you mentioned.
I'll be happy to give you more detailed impressions that I had of each horn if you e-mail me, but keep in mind that 1) I only spent one day at Brasswind trying these horns and 2) it's a cliche, but horns behave differently for different people.
