Tuba Tiger Rag (arr. Luther Henderson, I believe) would fit this description. It is a Canadian Brass arrangement. We have played it at elementary schools and the kids have responded well. It is a tuba feature, but the tuba part isn't too tough. The trumpet parts, however, are quite challenging.

Also this past year, we were reading through some older music (1950's) and we came across "This Old Man" march which is a neat arrangement of the folk tune. We thought it was something that the kids would recognize so we put it on a program. Little did we know that "This Old Man" is also the theme to "Barney" Email me privately for publisher etc. as I don't have it in front of me right now.

Good luck,
Russell
