Hello everyone! I just got my audition music for college today. I am familiar with Hungarian March, Bruckner 4, Mahler 1, and "The Ride" but I have never played Tchaikovsky's fourth. My excerpt starts 15 before K in the first movement. Looks very rythmically challenging! There is also an etude I have never seen before, but I'm not too worried about that. I'm sure lots of folks on this BBS have played these pieces and even more audition for college every year, so any advice is appreciated. I'm a freshman in the fall. Wait...I can hear it now, "Stop hanging around the BBS and go practice". Yes, practice is good. Later..
Regards,
Dan Castillo
