I have been using a 35 year old besson for 7 years (since I started) and now my bande has given me a Besson 982 to use. My problem is that I just bought a new denis wick 2 mouthpiece (i.e. small bore) that I like and would rather use than the 3L supplied with the horn. I know someone who could make an adapter (a tool maker), but I am wondering what kind of taper to use on the adapter? should I use the same taper that is on the DW 3L or should the taper be shaped to specifically fit the horn?
