If you are close to the apparently few outlets of Weril euphs, then do give them a try.

I only had the chance to try a laquer 4 valve model. I definitely liked it even if it is not a pro instrument.

Good intonation over a large range, good sound with just a tiny bit too much of an edge for my taste, large bore receiver, 4 top valves non-compensating, nice hard case.

Drawbacks:

Yes!: a threading of the valve caps that needs some attention, the open wrap of the 4th valve might be a bit uncomfortable on a protuding belly.

Would I buy one myself? Definitely if I had street jobs, where I would not like to take my Yamaha 641.

There even should be some wide margin up to the 3K mark.
