THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!!! The same thing the author of "why?" described happend to me! However, the horn is not totally to blame. We were stupid enough to buy the YBB-641! I too have not met one tuba player that likes them. In fact, the only people I do know of that like them are music teachers because they are some of the cheapest tubas on the market! I wouldn't even put it near the same level as a NEW Miraphone, let alone the old model Miraphones! The metal is so thin that you can put dents in it just by touching it--and I have witnessed this several times. The bell is so small, it is impossible to get any kind of tonal color range.
