Seems to me I remember a piece called "Two Together" that I got in 1980. It was very difficult and not worth the effort to play. I think Rodger Vaughn may have written something. You would have to check the Tuba Source Book. I have a notion that if you looked at the Bach Cantatas you would find a slew of soprano solo's with either oboe or violin obligatto. If you were enterprising enough you could play the original obligatto part or arrange it so as to fit your needs. There must be a bunch of stuff like that around. On the reverse, I did a Bach Bass Aria on a recital last year and had my wife, an incredibly fine violinist(makes me look REAL good) play the obligatto part whiel I palyed the vocal bass part on tuba. This maybe an avenue worth persuing. Hope this helped.
