I had a FRONT-action York EEb that (I believe) had the same branches and the only minor pitch problems were a flat 2nd partial (small problem)and a flat 8th partial (small problem) - both of them Eb's and D's.
I suspect that if I had used one of those old, very small EEb tuba mouthpieces (instead of the C4-like mouthpiece that I used) those Eb's and D's would have been even closer to "in tune" with no other real pitch problems.
Selling that tuba was not the wisest thing that I ever did.
