I really haven't looked at the food and drink stands for a while, but I'm sure you could find a better place to eat. Also, many people bring food in (picnic style) and eat there on the lawn. As for the sound, it's been a while since I've heard an orchestra concert there (sometime last summer), but I'd say it is about what you would expect. You are listening to live classical music in mono through outdoor speakers. In other words, good music, passable sound. But like I said, I don't really remember too well. Either way it is good music and a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy it.
