I have used the Perantucci #10 ( now #88) for the last twenty years. With my lips it makes my tuba sound great. I've tried quite a few others and they're fine, but I haven't found one yet to replace the Perantucci. It also has the easiest range of any of my mouthpieces. I've used different mouthpieces on different CC's, so definitely look around and see what works for you. When I switched from my Alex F to the Hirsbrunner F, I had to change mouthpieces because the #9 I used on the Alex just didn't work for intonation on the Hirsbrunner. I use a #65 on the Hirs.
