I've heard that Planets recording and it is quite impressive how those two guys can rip a single note into "terrifying" proportions....but the question is "is this musical?" Some think it is, some don't. I just get tired of seeing brass players pat each other on the back for how loud they can play, rather than phrasing, control, and blending. Nothing against the guys in this recording...they are great players and models, but it is important to understand that we're in this to be musicians not demolitian experts.
