I'm assuming here that your dry mouth is a symptom of performance anxiety and not a medical condition.

In the short term, you can get saliva flowing by lightly biting your tongue.

In the longer term, realize that dry mouth is a response to stress that your brain happens to find convenient as a way of getting your attention. Next time you get a dry mouth, try defusing the situation and play away, dry mouth and all. Tell yourself that in reality, the dry mouth doesn't prevent you from playing at all (it feels funny, but that's all). After awhile, your mind will get tired of playing a game that doesn't work and your mouth will quit getting dry.

My .00000002 anyway.
