I have ta Tip my hat at 'im too. He's got a great grasp of compositional sense. All I can say for the Subject is that I can hear Holst in Williams when I listen hard. By, I have to listen. The thing that kills me more than anything is not that composers borrow (Taking there OWN style to a piece or passage) but when they steal(note for note rip-off
[Elvis and Aura Lee. Horner and the Great Steps of Asia (American Tale). And then there are the snobby ones who steel from THEMSELVES. That doesn't make me wanna go buy the album, take it to town square and burn it, but I just get to thinkin' that the director isn't getting the composers all out effort, the producers are paying millions to have an orchestration written, and the fans who go for the soundtrack are screwed over when they notice that they heard this before from the verry same composer.

Have fun

Toodles
