How many CC's have you tried out? What do you like about each of them? Have you narrowed your choices down to a few candidates?
These aren't silly questions; choosing a tuba is a highly personal matter. Just look at all of the differing opinions on this list!
Having said that, there's a nice Getzen G50 listed further down the page for just the price you have in mind. But keep in mind that some like this horn; others don't.
