I fell into this trap myself a couple of months ago. The solutions is simple, if not exactly obvious:
Contra G: 2-5 should be fingered with all valves from #2 trough #5
Contra Gb: 1-5 should be fingered with all valves.
The hyphen is here used to save space, typhographically seen.
"verlängerter Ganzton" means "elongated whole step", so you have gotten that part right.
