I've folded (including assembling sections of) and thrown quite a few papers in the past, and would do it again. I'd do it for food and shelter, but probably not for a tuba.
If the price of any tubas are "artificially" high, it would be due to too many folks with credit cards snapping their fingers and demanding tubas. ;^/
