You might be right that I am a literalist:

We have a saying : Tag mig på ordet. Literally : Grab my word. Meaning: Compare my word to the reality of the situation. Making one of our more modernistic authors coin the phrase: You may grab me anywhere, just you do not grab my word. Sadly it was not one of our younger female authors.

In the case of the bespoken method book you may grab my word. I have done sufficient studies in technical (and even artistic) perspective and shading, so I will stand by my evaluation that it is thinner than the cornet edition. Proof to be found via the link.

And I am aware of the euph version in bass clef. Plus the bass clef version for CC tuba. Having no CC tuba I might have to await the version for BC BBb tuba. And the one for BC Eb tuba. Plus the version for BC G baritone.

My first specimen of the treble clef cornet version lasted from my 14th to 50th year. So I literally feel confident that my replacement specimen will suffice for a good deal of the rest of my active playing time.

Have a nice time with brave Eflattening. Literarily!

All the best

Klaus
