Anderson Plating in used to plate valves. They are in Evansville, IN (?, it's been a long time).
YOU were responsible to supply the exact diameter of the valve casing and they would plate and "true" the valve piston to a tolerance of .005". That still required some hand lapping. Unless you are experienced or very brave, you need a qualified repairman.
Even a new valve will need hand lapping, valve casings are not consistantly the same size at the factory, so you are not much better off with a new piston in an old casing in my opinion.
You didn't say but f you are asking about ROTARY valves... that's a different animal.
