Seems to me that it would just be another variable to constantly tinker with. Think about it - if your 4th valve gets just a bit out of alignment it can crap out your entire low register. Oh, it'll still be playable, but it won't be at it's optimal performance and neither will you. Why ask for trouble? If there was a way to make a nearly foolproof system that would never drift out of adjustment no matter how often you put it on and off of the horn, maybe it would add a little functionality. But unless you can plan on swapping out the valve section, and knowing that it will be dead bang on adjustment and alignment *every time*, then you are shooting yourself in the foot.
