I would be nice if you walked into the store in Indiana, California, Texas, Michigan, New Jersey, Carolina, etc. with a pocket full of money and the intention of acquiring an instrument, rather that considering these places tuba tootin' carnivals. Spittin' and fingerprintin' (scratching? denting?) up a bunch of tubas requires several man hours to undo. It might even be argued that insincere lookers raise the price of tubas for sincere lookers.
These guidelines of deportment do not apply at all, however, when these vendors bring tubas to YOU (at T.U.B.A. events, etc.).
You certainly aren't expected to agree with me, buy you might consider my point of view.
