Honestly, though, I don't see a reason to avoid using CC marching tubas anymore. The rules allow for bell front brasses in the key of Bb (and mellophones in F), excluding trombones and sousaphones -- so according to the book, CC tubas wouldn't be allowed.

But, even if they were, I would rather use only BBb tubas just to make tuning simpler. It's hard enough to tune out there as it is.
