Since I didn't hear the program I can't say who it was for certain. But it was probably Sam Pilafian. He has a CD out called Travelin' Light which includes this track. The instrumentation on that track is tuba, piano, and guitar. In the track I have, the piano does an intro, then Sam begins with a medley. Then the melody gets traded back and forth between the three of them.
If you don't have it yet, you should definitely buy a copy of this CD and a similar one titled "Makin' Whoopee". These two are among my most favorite CDs in my collection. (My current favorite depends on my mood, but these stay near the top.)
