It's a great horn. It is smaller than the 45S and PT-10, but larger than a 182 and an Alex. It's got a great german F sound. The lows pop out nicely, obviously not as nice as an SLP, but it has much more dexterity and freedom than an SLP. Because of that, it's a great solo horn and works well in quintet, and orchestra. It's a light sound, compared to the heavyness of an SLP and compliments a good sized CC very nicely. I wouldn't want to use it as an all purpose horn, something that could be considered w/ an SLP..?
