I don't know the Pacific Northwest, but you should make an effort to take at least one lesson from him and if not him get a hold of Chris Olka in Seattle. You don't have to go every week, especially with a seriously talented individual. These guys can give you one lesson and then you can take a few months and digest what you have learned then go back again. Try to set aside a Saturday or Sunday and let these guys get you jump started.
