When you feel like throwing the horn in the river, do yourself a favor, get rid of the intense frustration, and do it much more cheaply than buying an F. Just lace on you running shoes, and go for a run. At about $75 for a decent pair, it's much cheaper than an F, and if you work up to about 4 - 5 miles a day, you can play the Vaughn-Williams, 2nd Mvt. on a sousaphone if you like. Having a strong, reliable air supply for your embouchure is most important, to support the lips, which do little more than vibrate. The best racing motor won't run to it's true capability without good fuel.
