Mine is 1912 so the numbers must be similar. The horn was left on my door step, in a box with no discernable return address. I got the shipper's label and contacted UPS. They told me the town it came from and I had a friend living there. She moved in to a new house, estate sale origin, and found the horn in the basement, on a cement shelf where it had been for God knows how many years. She knew I would just love the tuba so she shipped to to me. I called her and began: "Donna, I love you . . . " Her response: "Oh, the tuba got there, hunh?" Ain't friends wonderful? (AT)$400 later and Lee Stofer's ministries, the valves are re-done and it plays like a dream; great scale and all but you better use a Conn 2 mouthpiece on it, if you want consistant pitch. You should keep this and treasure it. Lee wanted to cut it and make a CC out of it; the tubing is bigger than an HB2.
