The Conn Helleberg 7B is a smaller mouthpiece than the regular one. I think of the 7B more like the original 1930's Helleberg because it is very close to the same size. The regular one of today is somewhat larger. As for the Schilke 66, which I play on. It's has the same dimensions of the 30s Helleberg. Ren Schilke's wife played tuba and she played on a Conn Helleberg, she loved it so much that she insisted that her husband make something of the same design, so he took the dimensions and made one of his own that has a different outward appearance and I believe also is heavier than a Helleberg thus the 66 was born. Hope this has helped. And yes I love my Schilke, it has truly helped me in some areas. For what it's worth. . .
