Yes, as you learned in high school the Aztec empire was defeated by the Spanish conquistadors. They were one of many peoples living in Mexico at that time. They were defeated - yet many were left alive. Some intermingled with the Spanish. Others left and went to live elsewhere. Indeed, you brilliantly missed my point. If you want to talk about extermination of a race, look no further than the good ol' U.S.. The ironic part is that the Europeans associated with this crime aren't the English or French. At least the Spanish left some native folks walking around.............
