Great topic! My pet peeve is when doing impromptu gigs, often the others seem to think that the place to put cases, purses, and stuff is behind the band. Naturaly, since the tuba is in the back, I am between these folks and their extra stuff! So what have you got?.... dumb-a**es clammering around to get stuff they should have had the forsight to have had with them in the first place. Instead, these dolts are knocking around my music stand and stumbling over anything I happen to be using to get their mutes, valve oil, or in one case... lipstick. Duh. Clarinets and trumpets.... can't live with 'em and can't shoot 'em.
