Ear Man (assuming that he IS an ear man, and I'm assuming) has a VERY hard job.

The very little bit that I know about ringing in the ears tells me that it can be caused by all sorts of crazy things.

These incredibly good detectives, these Ear Men, have to try to figure out what may have changed in a person's diet (?), drug intake (?), stress levels (?), environment (?), other (?) to cause the tinnitus.

For instance, my Mom's Ear Man finally figured out that a certain brand of coffee combined with a certain pain killer was causing her to "hear helicopters". Dang it if he wasn't exactly right. After three repeated demonstrations/experiments, the combination of those two things was the ONLY way she could get the "helicopters" to come back!...

...' smart man!...' lucky lady (my Mom) to find the smart man.
