I think that as a tubist, you have to let the embouchure find its own center. We all have a spot that "feels" right. Unless you have a monstrously off-center set, I wouldn't worry too much. Changing it could actually be like fighting nature. We all know how some of those battles end up. Does it sound good and feel right? Those are the important issues.
