Both, actually. I played the big 5/4 at NABBA (north American Brass Band assn.) this year and found it to be unwieldy, and rather ordinary sounding. To much work for a little bang, so to speak!! I've played the big Willson BBb, though, so I'm a little jaded, and unabashedly BBb prone!
