I can speak from experience on this book. This was my high school band director. Besides being a great guy, he has written a wonderful series of books. When I played BBb tuba I considered myself a strong sight reader. This is not only because of these books but the methods that he used in class were wonderful. If you want to become a good sight reader this book will get you there. Although it is marketed as a highschool sightreading book, this book will improve the sight reading of all players. It has easy passages and more difficult ones. I strongly recommend this book to anyone. He not only makes a book for tuba, but for all the wind instruments, string instruments, and even percussion.
