Along with the brass quintet that Bill mentioned, there is a nice work for brass ensemble titled "Concerto for Brass Op. 157 (written in 1983). It is recorded by the Scaninavian Brass Ensemble on BIS CD-265, distributed by Qualiton Imports Ltd., NY.
There is also a nice work for tuba and three trombones (alto, tenor & bass) that I heard done by Ivan Hammond at Bowling Green years ago. A very nice piece and a good crowd pleaser. It is recorded (with euph instead of tuba....the shame!) by the Royal Danish Brass Ensemble's CD "Cascade" on Rondo Grammofon CD RCD-8352. The name of the piece is
"Notater Op. 140 and was written in 1979. In my opinion, this recording is not a "must have". I bought it to hear the Notater and was not knocked out by it.
